Terms of Service

The rules for using Fiona Scanner: the scanner client, the panel and the API.

Last updated October 25, 2026
In shortScans are voluntary and need a PIN from someone you trust. Operators must only scan people who agreed. Results are indications that a human should review, not final verdicts. Please read the sections below for the details.

Accepting these terms

These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) govern your use of Fiona Scanner: the Windows scanner client, the web panel, the public report pages, the API and anything else we offer under the Fiona Scanner name (together, the “Service”).

By downloading or running the scanner, creating an account, or using the panel, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. If you use it on behalf of a community, company or team, you confirm you are allowed to accept these Terms for it.

What the Service does

Fiona Scanner helps game communities review a player’s PC for signs of cheating. A staff member generates a PIN in the panel, the player downloads and runs the scanner and enters that PIN, and the scanner checks the system and uploads a report that staff can read live.

Depending on how the workspace is configured, a scan can look at:

  • drivers, loaded modules and system security state such as VBS and HVCI;
  • running processes and the memory of selected processes;
  • forensic artifacts such as the USN journal, prefetch, BAM and Amcache;
  • strings, file names and hashes that the workspace has chosen to look for, including custom detection rules.

The scanner is a single executable with no installer. It only runs when the player opens it and enters a valid PIN.

Who is who

Player

The person who downloads and runs the scanner because a community asked them to.

Operator

The community, server or company that owns a workspace, creates PINs and reads the reports.

Staff

Members the operator invites, with roles such as Owner, Admin, Mod and Team.

We / us

The people who build and run Fiona Scanner.

Operators decide whether a player is asked to scan and what happens with the result. We provide the tooling; we do not make moderation decisions for anyone.

If you are a player

Running a scan is your choice. Nobody can run Fiona on your PC without you opening the program and typing in a PIN. By running it you confirm that:

  • you are the owner or authorized user of the computer being scanned;
  • you understand the scan reads system artifacts and, for selected targets, process memory, and that the results are uploaded to the operator who gave you the PIN;
  • you were asked to scan by someone you trust, and you have read the Privacy Policy.

The scanner needs administrator rights to read system artifacts. You can close it at any time. If you close it early, the report may be incomplete, and the operator may treat that however its own rules allow. That is between you and the operator.

If you do not agree with a scan or with what an operator does with a report, contact the operator first. You can also write to us at [email protected] and we will help where we can.

If you are an operator

When you create a workspace or generate a PIN, you agree to the following:

  • Consent. Only send a PIN to people who have agreed to be scanned, and make sure you have a lawful basis and a clear community rule for asking. Never run a scan on someone’s device without their knowledge.
  • Accounts. Keep your login details secret and tell us at once if you think your account was used by someone else. You are responsible for what happens under your account and for the staff you invite.
  • Access control. Give staff the lowest role they need. Reports can contain personal data, so only people who need to see them should have access.
  • Public links. A public report link can be opened by anyone who has it. Share it carefully and do not post it where it can expose a player.
  • Fair use of results. Do not use scan data to harass, doxx, blackmail or discriminate against anyone, or for any purpose other than reviewing cheating on your server.
  • Your own compliance. You are responsible for following the laws that apply to your community, including data-protection and privacy rules, and for answering requests from players about scans you ran.

Results are indications, not verdicts

Fiona reports indications. They can be wrong. A scan can miss a cheat (false negative) and can flag something harmless (false positive), for example a legitimate tool that shares traits with a cheat.

Always have a person review the evidence before taking action against a player. We are not responsible for bans, removals, lost access, reputational harm or any other decision an operator makes based on a report.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use the Service to collect data from people who have not agreed to a scan, or in any way that breaks the law;
  • bypass, share, resell or brute-force PINs, or interfere with PIN limits and expiry;
  • reverse engineer, decompile, patch, repackage or redistribute the scanner, or build tools that imitate it or tamper with its results;
  • upload malware or write custom detections, scripts or strings meant to harm a player’s computer or to read data beyond what is needed to detect cheating;
  • overload, probe or attack the Service, or use the API in a way that harms other users;
  • access another workspace or account without permission, or help anyone else do so.

Cheat Development & Bypass Testing Prohibition

Fiona Scanner is strictly licensed for anti-cheat verification, player screening, and server integrity protection. The Service may not be used to assist cheat creators or test evasion software.

Strict Prohibition on Cheat Development & Bypass Testing (Hile Geliştirme ve Bypass Testi Yasağı)

You explicitly agree not to use Fiona Scanner for reverse engineering, detection evasion, or cheat development:

  • Prohibited Evasion & Detection Testing: You may not run scans, generate PINs, or inspect report heuristics for the purpose of testing, benchmarking, or verifying whether a cheat, loader, injector, spoofer, kernel driver, or memory injection method is detected or undetected by Fiona Scanner.
  • Prohibition of Reverse Engineering: You agree not to decompile, disassemble, unpack, hook, tamper with, or debug the Fiona Scanner client executable, API payloads, or detection algorithms.
  • Zero Tolerance & Immediate Revocation: Any account, workspace, IP subnet, or hardware ID identified as engaging in cheat development, evasion research, or bypass testing will be immediately and permanently banned across the entire Fiona ecosystem without notice or refund.
  • Legal Remedies: We strictly reserve all rights to pursue civil damages, statutory remedies, and report unauthorized access or intellectual property infringement to law enforcement authorities.

Your content and customization

You can add custom detection scripts, string profiles, scanner branding, a logo and similar material. You keep your rights to it. You give us a limited licence to host, process and display it only to run the Service for you, including baking it into the scanner your players download.

You confirm that you have the right to use everything you upload, including any logo, and that it does not infringe anyone else’s rights or break the law. You are responsible for your custom detections: you decide what they look for and what they flag.

Plans, fees and access

Fiona Scanner is offered in paid plans such as Starter, Professional and Enterprise. Prices, limits and features are shown on the pricing section of our site and in the panel when you buy. Extra team seats on Enterprise plans are charged at the rate shown in the panel.

  • Features are unlocked when your access is activated, and may be limited or locked when it ends or is suspended.
  • We may change prices or plans with reasonable notice. A change will not apply to a period you already paid for.
  • You can stop using the Service at any time.

Digital Delivery, No-Refund & Chargeback Policy

Clear rules governing digital product fulfillment, subscription cancellations, and payment dispute handling.

Digital Product Terms, Non-Refundable Nature & Dispute Policy (Dijital Ürün İade & Chargeback Kuralı)

By purchasing a license, subscription, or quota, you acknowledge and agree to the following financial terms:

  • Immediate Digital Fulfillment & All Sales Final: Fiona Scanner subscriptions, operator keys, and API quotas are digital services delivered and activated immediately upon purchase. Due to the irreversible delivery of proprietary scanning technology, cloud server infrastructure, and detection updates, all purchases and renewals are strictly final and non-refundable once delivery has commenced.
  • Mandatory Direct Support Resolution: Before taking any dispute action with a bank, card issuer, or payment processor, you must first contact Fiona Scanner support at [email protected] to resolve any billing discrepancy or cancellation request.
  • Chargeback & Ters İbraz Blacklist: If an unauthorized chargeback, dispute, or payment reversal is initiated with your financial provider, your user account, active licenses, team workspace, and all linked community servers will be immediately and permanently blacklisted across the global Fiona Scanner network.
  • Fraud Evidence Submission: In the event of a chargeback dispute, we will provide full forensic audit logs—including your account IP addresses, scan timestamps, delivery confirmation, and agreement logs—to the payment processor, bank, and fraud prevention databases.

Ownership

The Service, including the scanner, the panel, the detection logic, the designs and the Fiona Scanner name and logo, belongs to us and our licensors. We give you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable right to use the Service as these Terms allow. We do not give you any other rights.

If you send us ideas or feedback, we may use them without owing you anything.

Availability, changes and termination

We work to keep the Service reliable but cannot promise it will always be available or error-free. We may update, change or remove features, including detections, at any time.

We may suspend or end your access, with or without notice, if you break these Terms, put others or the Service at risk, or if the law requires it. You may close your account at any time. Sections that by their nature should survive (ownership, disclaimers, liability and this clause) will survive.

Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent the law allows, we do not give any warranties, express or implied, including about accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, uninterrupted use, or that the scanner will detect any particular cheat or be compatible with every system.

Running any program that reads system data carries some risk. You use the scanner at your own risk and should keep backups of anything important.

Limits on liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, goodwill or players, arising from your use of the Service, even if we were told it was possible.

Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us for the Service in the three months before the event that gave rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, and your mandatory consumer rights stay as they are.

You agree to defend and hold us harmless against claims brought by third parties because of your misuse of the Service, your content, or scans you ran without the required consent.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes we will update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, tell you in the panel or by email. If you keep using the Service after a change takes effect, you accept the new Terms.

Governing law and contact

These Terms are governed by the laws of the place where the operator of Fiona Scanner is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. This does not take away any mandatory consumer protection you have where you live. We encourage you to contact us first so we can try to settle any problem informally.
